We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand.
We have an international reputation and are renowned academically as New Zealand’s largest teaching hospital. We hold an alliance with the University of Auckland and its Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in the form of the Auckland Academic Health Alliance.
We have three major facilities Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre. Auckland City Hospital is New Zealand’s largest public hospital as well as the largest clinical research facility, playing a key role in advancing national and international research.
