Our hospital chaplains are trained professionals. They offer pastoral care and spiritual guidance to patients, whanau and staff, available Sunday - Friday 8am - 4pm. Chaplains respect a person's individual beliefs and will support people of any faith, or of no faith. Our chaplains visit the wards daily and try to see as many people as possible.
The Hospital chapel and quiet room is situated on Level 6 at Auckland Hospital. The chapel is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The chapel is used for worship, reflection, prayer and special services as required. Weekly Sunday services are held as follows: Ecumenical at 10am, Roman Catholic at 11:30am and Juma prayers on Fridays at 1pm.
