Industrial action – APEX union Psychologists

Industrial action by APEX union Psychologists began at 8am on Tuesday 3 September and will end on Tuesday 1 October at 8am.

During the industrial action, Psychologists who are APEX union members and choose to take part will not participate in group work with service users and they will not accept new patients onto their caseloads. Participating Psychologists will still carry out the initial assessment of a patient being triaged or at the intake stage, prior to them being allocated to a psychologist.

This is not a full withdrawal of labour.

Patient safety remains our priority and we are continuing to provide psychology services throughout the period of industrial action.
