Auckland is at Alert Level 3, which means some changes to our hospitals and clinics. Find out more. As always, we're here if you need us.
There’s an increased amount of sickness among tamariki in our community, with a high rate of respiratory (breathing-related) viruses.
To help prevent the spread of infection within our hospital, we are restricting the number of tamariki and whānau visiting Starship and Women's Health.
Remember, if anyone needs urgent medical treatment, do not delay seeking help. If it is an emergency call 111 immediately or go to your nearest emergency department.
Only parents or caregivers are able to visit children staying at Starship.
Only one parent or caregiver can visit at a time, except during a handover period where two may be present.
Children under 14 years of age (including siblings) are unable to visit children staying at Starship or come with them to outpatient appointments.
Only one parent or caregiver can bring their children to their appointment.
Exceptions to the visitor restrictions policy on compassionate grounds will be at the discretion of the clinical team. Please talk to the nurse in charge.
